When it comes to marketing, there are four principals you must take into
consideration:
- People -The people who will use your product
- Product - What your selling
- Pricing - Your Pricing Strategy
- Promotion - How you will promote your business
Some will also say placement. You must sit down with your core team,
and work on business level strategy. I once went to a marketing class,
with an alleged professor, who had a Masters in Marketing.
When I was questioning him about placement of an ad, and color, etc.
He had never heard of those particular strategies.
I thought to myself...hmmmm...tThat is strange! How can he be a professor
of
Marketing, yet not know these basic marketing 101concepts?
I will share them with you now.
If you have the money to place ads in any type of newspaper,
business magazine, etc, you need to know that
RED is the color that draws your attention 1st,
unless your color blind.
That is why we have incorporated RED
into this site.
Placement is another option to weight. If you place
your ad at the
top right corner, those are the ads that grab the readers attention FIRST!
If you place it at the bottom right corner, it gets the second response,
and so on. It costs a little more to add color, to have specific placement,
but this is what will drive up your sales.

Also, put your website name on any and all promotional
material you can.
Do not have your website look like your brochure to much.
